![]() ![]() For drafts it might not be a good idea to use for, or material to have some copyrights, but technically it can be an option to be used. Not a simple image host, as the new work uploaded there turns automatically to public domain. And then, even an expert Inkscape artist would need at least a week to make that drawing.unless they have a couple 3 free 8 hours days.imo. And that's not to mention artistic skills, which Inkscape tutorials can't necessarily teach. If you're a beginner with Inkscape, and unless you're some kind of savant, the kind of image which Lazur URH shows, would take.idk, at least 6 months of intense study of Inkscape, to acquire the needed skills. The only true image host besides Dropbox (which if I understand correctly, is cloud-based, so not necessarily a true internet host) which accepts SVG is. (Unless I misunderstand OCL) Dropbox is an option. Unless the end product is something like a tutorial, I wouldn't upload unfinished images there. ![]() Lazur URH, I'm not sure about suggesting OCL as a simple image host. Something went wrong when you inserted it. At least one of them is actually a tutorial, and if you follow it, you can learn that skill. One of them is about a feature that's still under development (gradient meshes). Some of those are very complex images, which require advanced Inkscape skills. I would suggest to try to draw something realistic with only gradients.Īnd, if you tried all the possibilities with those, consider using blurred objects with masking. There can be problems with it both when exporting to png or saving to pdf.Įven that image uses gradients where ever it can instead of blurring. It can dramatically slow down the rendering of your drawing, and ![]() ![]() With my experience I can say that blurring is best to be used as less as possible. Some other blurring is involved on the tires and on other little parts too. It is used above the front wheel, on the bonnet's right end with masking, and on the back and side of the car without any masking -resulting in some defocus-like effect. Here it is used in the highights as well. Most commonly blur filter is used to add drop shadow to the drawing. Then paste the svg's url between the svg tags. You can attach svg with the upload attachment button under the reply panel.Īnother way is to upload somewhere, like or , ![]()
